Doing this site for an appraisal company. I still have to fill in all the content and company logo and slogan (all is filler content now), but I wanted to get some comments on the layout. Theres not a lot of content they have offered me so I wanted to keep it extremely simple. The sites purpose is almost that of a yellow page add on the internet...not much user interaction like some of the larger firms. Thanks! :D

yup looks good...
2 things...
Don't like that the logo is a "logo" you can get from photoshop...
Or is it a font...well anyway...
And then the links could have some photos in them...but I guess you ain't ready with the text part yet when it's all the same text...
Well looks good :D

Heh I was thinking exact same thing, it's not a good idea to use a wingding for a logo.

Still very nice though. :D

very nice!
Two things tho;
One, I think it stops a bit suddenly at the right, you know...it seems cut off suddenly.

Two, save pixely images as GIF not JPG. The sharpness is much better when you don't need 23454355 colors.

But yeah, very cozy and professional design.

Just out of curiosity (I don't have any gripes about your site by the way. Nice work.) Is this appraisal place really on a farm? I was wondering if that was the building put on a pleasant picture or if that was an actual place. Just curious.

no, but the company appraises mostly houses and farms. the header is two pictures combined, the house is one and the field is another. :D thanks for the comments btw.

nice one,
very proffessional looking, they should be happy with that.

Just wondering if you could do anything with the shadows on the house. I noticed they dont match the surroundings, maybe im to picky, but it would make it even better...

I like how the house kinda pokes out of the little window, very cleanly against the white bg. nice!
