I had a wild hair, and decided to redo T4D. I have no bg image for the page and I have no idea what I will eventually put at the bottom of the layout. There are some pics there to fill space for now. Waitin for some cc.

i like it a lot. maybe spice up the background a bit but other than that, i think it looks nice and clean and easy to use.

who me? or ant? It is a very simple gradient effect with some changes to the hue/saturation. I have never written a tut, but if anyone needs one I will try.

Tip: Add more contrast to the header. I can hardly read the name of the website.
I don't particulary like this layout. For my tastes I would give it 6 out of 10. I like simple websites, but this one is not really inspired. Sorry ...

Can you be more specific, why don't you think it is "inspired"? The colors on your screen must be different from mine. I have np reading it. Could be the jpg quality. Btw...I am a female and I think the layout is very feminine.

Well ... Lets say i find the colors too desaturated. Feminine you say? Desaturation makes me think of old ... lifeless. More saturation on the header will make me think of life. A LIVING LAYOUT.
I dont see your "touch" in it. Nothing personal. Like a signature. I can show you 300 websites looking like it in 3 days maximum.
