Sorry Squidly... It appears that we got off on the wrong foot or something. When I first read your post about taking bits and peices from other designers I thought you ment like copy and paste kindof stuff. I understand where your coming from now... sorry :P

its okay. Thats what I was trying to convey to you. Props on your work its great. I am not about stealing stuff. I will be doing something 100% my own in the next couple weeks - I will however be incorporating things that I like from other sites. liking a color here, a placement there etc. If it came off as "print screen" change hue/sat then I am sorry. Again fusion props on your stuff I just registered the name pixelburst.com//// wanted pixelfusion but its taken |

hahaha I thought you were referring to squidly's site. May I remind you that the "similarity" between Fusiun and Pixelranger's logos is a Circle. Yeah. A circle, one of the most basic and commonly found geometric shapes in the world. Are you suggesting that Fusiun ripped off Pixelranger's circle? Since Pixelranger so obviously invented the circle?? No, rather, Pixelranger ripped off Pythagoras. Furthermore, a circle is not something that can be "invented" but rather "Discovered." After all, did ben franklin "INvent" electricity? No. he discovered it. of course, 2advanced's logo also consists of a logo inside a circle. Did Pixelranger rip off 2advanced? Or are you willing to stick your neck out and call 2advanced a ripper of someone else, and risk being blasted by every webdesigner who reads this forum? Of course, the guy who owns Pixelranger also works for 2advanced, I think. But I guess this doesn't matter when considering Copyright infringement. god damn it, I hate it when people call others Rippers when they find ONE GOD DAMN SIMILARITY, especially when the similarity is equivalent to that of a CIRCLE. |

okay...back to the site. i dont think its really all that bad at all. instead of putting headers below the boxes, try changing them to white and putting them in the boxes. also nudge the stclstatus header down a bit and the south texas law... up a bit. close in the margins in your boxes a bit also, your text is too close to the edge. as the others said, a little professional and subtle eye candy and it will look pretty nice.

skzy.... i was trying to tell fusion how it is hard to have a site that does not in some way have the same design elements as other sites.... IE whatever you do has been done somewhere before in some shape or form.
