Cardboard boxes site

site for a client

It's in Romanian I'm afraid - the customer is also Romanian lol - It's a small (very) company that makes cardboard boxes for all sorts of stuff. Anyway - the things I don't like about it and will be corrected are:
the flash navigation in a separate frame
some bugs yet to be worked out in the flash - I'm rather a newbie at flash...
the content is not yet uploaded - it's just for show...

I really like the concept and your illustration. The frame alignment is just a tad off at the moment http://www.t4dstudio.com/screen_shot.htm but, as you have said you will change that. I personally think it looks really cool! :D
Now lets see what everyone else says. :p

It's very nice looking the only thing was it took me along time to load the flash menu on 56k, but that could also be due to the fact I have a bunch of downloads going right now :P That's probably the reason. But yeah its really nice I don't really like the music though, so good thing you can turn it off :D

I love it, until I saw that frame page.... evil! hehe....

only thing is that it ain't that obvious where the enter button is...
okey maybe in your language the text says Enter or something like that

Yup as said...it ain't aligned to me eighter.
Sorry but what is that box thingy spinning there?
The logo or?
That was the first thing that you see and it kinda has no point?
The navigation font is guite large for my taste...
and those lines in the background...
They look more of a "hey lets put all flash in one thing" kinda of thing.
And the name of the firm...Catos looks pretty plain...
okey I'm really sorry...This really sounds I hate the site or something...but that ain't the case...
These where just somethings that caught my eye...
So please don't get mad at me :D

but as I said i LOVE the splash site :D

the music is a bit crazy IMO, but good work.;)

Love the pics, love the cardboard boxes, but you can do a lot more with it.

I don't like the main page, and I especially don't like the rotating white/red box, which is ugly.

The flash menu is nicely done (I'm talking about that produce thingy :D), but I'd rethink of another form of rollover animation. The hexagonal present thing is blah.

The text that says CATOS, should be spruced up.
And put something in the background of the flash menu.

Nice method of producing the background to look like crumpled paperor whatever, brown noise. Nice idea.

I'm usually anti-audio for web pages, but I really dig that music :D

Frames are a no-no, but you've heard that a million times before.
Lose the flash - it screams "hey, i felt like doing this in flash just 'cause i can". It doesn't really add anything to the site and it takes the focus away from the content.

Other than that, nicely done

I think it looks pretty good, but like some other said the box think looks kindof weird and the frames are a little off :P

Im not really sure where all the flash and audio is, nothing like that loaded for me :P SO.. other then those things I think it looks alright

welll -where do I start - first - the test really says "enter" in romanian - actually it says "enter here"
- the frame - yeah - sucks - that will be changed
- the revolving cube thing with CATOS on top - that's not my idea - the client requested (insisted rather)and it is also the company logo
- the "CATOS" text is part of the logo - cannot change it
- the hexagonal rollovers - also the client's request (along with the scanlines)
I'd loose the flash alltogether but the only way to make the big cube rotate would be an extremely large gif and ughhh...
As a matter of fact I started out with the splash and the frame below the flash with a much simpler (and nicer in my opinion) text only navigation - but when I took it to the client he said he loved it but it needs "action" - so his "art director" cousin came up with this awesome concoction in flash.... - he described to me in detail so that I would be unable to "move" around lol.
