I like it pretty well. The size is good considering you don't have a large amount of content. If you had tried to make it a full size site with the amount of content you have it would have a looked pretty empty. So it was a good idea to make it smaller. I'm not a huge fan of the font. I generally don't like the look of pixel fonts when they are big. I like to use them at the size they were intended, 6 - 10 pixels, or not at all. But that's just personal preference. It's also a little odd looking to have squarish pixel fonts on a site where everything including your logo is rounded and based off of a circle. Unless you were going for contrast between them. I like the mouseovers on the nav, different enough to tell when you are "mousing over something" but subtle enough that it isn't distracting. Good whitespace around the body content... Glad you didn't mash it right up next to the border you have on there. I would recommend a graphic or line of text somewhere on each page to identify which page you are currently looking at. It's hard to tell what page you are looking at without reading the entire paragraph of content on each page. The title on your About page is M. Anderson - Poetry. I assume that is supposed to be About instead. I would highly recommend you use stylesheets for formatting your text. Rather than having to use extremely long < font> tags for every paragraph, you could just define all < p> tags to be verdana, 10px, and the color you are using and you wouldn't have to worry about formatting anything at all. Then you can remove all of those font tags. |

I meant to thank you deker for your detailed critique. About the css. I read another post that mentioned something like this: .text{ font-family:verdana; font-size:10px; color:#000000; } is that good? |

Yeah that'll work, but since you only have one font size throughout the entire site, you could just redefine the < p> (or < body>) tag to the same specifications, then you wouldn't have to put "class="text"" everywhere. It'll just be a little less code to make the page download even faster.

I agree with deker's comment on pixel fonts, only use them small. Or don't use htem. They really don't look that nice when big.

Thanx again for all your comments. I will try and change the < p> (or < body>) tag. ;)
