Hey this is pretty nice! I like the "mellowed out metal" theme. You're right, a lot of sites using this do tend to do the "goth-influenced Hooks hanging out of all sorts of places, gears coming out the ass, eyeballs popping out of holes" look.

This is nice; It's simple, easy to look at, and some other good stuff that I'm too lazy to say.

I personally liked the older one better, but then again, that may be just me. I love brighter colored websites.....
