A Relaxing Site

That's what I have been told anyway. I know this ain't much of a design, but it's something I whipped together, and I just wanna know, how comforting it is.

You need to spice it up a bit. Maybe more color, maybe some sort of mouseover effect on the links. Something. I'm also not digging the positioning, although it's decent... it's too far up and left (using 1290/960 resolution).

I made it mostly for the stupid comp people that have their rez in 800x600. A lot of my friends have that.

you should have a stop button on your animated banner and maybe link the photos so we can see or even better make it so when you put your mouse over the pic it bubbles up like you looking at it under a magnifier,, i been looking for this effect but i can get it right :(
