Hi i need your sugestions guys;

www.kaliche.com/may17.htm

Ok i have the alpha filter going in here but i want to take it a step further.

Is it possible to have a onMouseover effect that causes the picture look magnified with out flash??

I was thinking of using a layer that would pop up when someone goes over each image and make that layer have a bigger picture.

Somewhat like a thumnail but with out having to click on it.
im still gona make them thumnails but was wandering if i can have this effect as well. I think it would be neat.

I seen this effect done in flash but i want to stay oway from that for now since im just starting out.

What do you guys sugest?

I was thinking loading up the page in dreamweaver since layers are easy to do in it.

How about CSS is there any properties for this effect? MAybe you can point me the right dirrection.

hmm..damn. It was harder than I thought. lol
But I managed to write one that works fine, at least in IE.

(nothing to do with php, just don't know what else to use :p)

So yeah.. I don't know how experienced you are with HTML / JavaScript..
But if you don't know how to continue from that, just ask here.

EDIT: lol, forgot.
A the example is here:

EDIT No2: uhm yeah, and this system would work with this setup:
the large image is named "blah.jpg", while the smaller one would be named "th_blah.gif".

-_____- I haven't slept well. Sorry. :D
