Altered State

I just finished the site Altered State. Its for a first person shooter game that is in development right now. I would appreciate any feedback left. Thanks!

The site is made practically un-navigable. The soundtrack is also more than grating.

Why does the site scoll vertically?

I really hope the game is good, that will if you are lucky, deflect from the lack of site.

The soundtrack gets rather irritating after a while indeed, but hey... you can atleast turn it off. You should make it so you can click the text in the navigation too, it's rather silly to have to click on the square, people would try the text first.

I think it's damn cool.
I love the scratchy and static like soundeffects.
The dark feeling and the "z..zzzz..krr...XX...disturbance here and there" - effects does the job on making the atmosphere really gloomy and threatening.
The mouseovers are really cool too.

i like the site, the one thing i dont really care for is the vertical scroll system of the screenshots. I would move my mouse over to the arrow and it would go way fast. I think it would work better if you could just click the arrow and it would move one screeny over. i found myself trying to quickly move my mouse across to click on the one i wanted to see. Game looks decent. I dont really like the looks of most of the characters but that isnt your problem
