I would like to know what people on this forum think of my site. It's not quite done yet, but I would like to know what people think of the overall look and layout. It's a small tutorial site about photoshop and html with a little section for personal stuff. The site is at http://www3.sympatico.ca/adore01 |

Thanks for the suggestions. I started that page about 2 days ago, so I am still adding things. The links page is going to be done tonight ... it will contain links from turtorial sites that helped me, html sites, graphic sites ... whatever seems helpful. I like the idea of different picture for every page ... I'm going to do that! Thanks. With harder tutorials ... I would like to add some of those in. I am still learning Photoshop, so the tutorials help me out too :p Does anyone know any other good tutorial site for Photoshop 7.0? |

Make the black table size static; when I maximize the window, it stretches to fit most of my screen and it leaves a giant blackspace. Not only does the background not fill up the space the iframes for the sections take up that small space as well. I took a peek at the image and the image height is 376 pixels, plus the source code for the index html. Line 7: should be: That way the top and center frame will stay constant and the final frame will stretch to accomodate the viewer's browser size. |

I'll fix that up now ... but I had my frames set up like that and I went to change my resolution size to see what it looked like for different computers and it went all out of shape. Anyways ... all of the above replies I will work on tonight. Thanks again. |

Well I think the site is really nice - and I do not think the main image should change (if you make it change - make sure it does not take really long time to load, that would just ruin the website) - I like the style.. Just a few things that you maybe should change - the thing !mo0chan! said, and I think the text is really close to the image, at least it is in 1280 x 1024 and there's just a lot of black.. But hey, really nice you use redensek, and have it avalible for download nice font, used it on my first website 3 years ago - and I still do ;)

Ok, so I changed my screen resloution, and I do see a lot of black empty space. The site was intended to be black and white, with little color .. but everything is still just being thought of. Question: How do I do a layout that is suitable for all screen resolutions? (feel free to e-mail, MSN, or Yahoo me) Redensek I use for a lot of sites I do, I sometimes use Severent 7 but ever since my computer crashed I haven't found it to download again. On the download page I am also going to be posting Photoshop brushes. |
