I showed my layout on the graphics check forum but now I got the homepage for my site up, none of the links work, but they have mouse overs now and i added a background color and centered it, tell me what you think... http://www.angelfire.com/ga4/chimbo/CHIMBOZ2.htm Im still thinking of changing the font of the navigator, just takes time and work, and I haven't had the time lately... any new opinions welcomed *edit* just a little update... I put up the "thoughts" section I dont have any thoughts on it yet but the general layout is there. just click the link from the homepage. |

Yeah that pixel font has no business with the smooth flow of the site. It is a little narrow but it doesnt bother me, I like the nice clean look of the site.

The thoughts site takes quite a while to load here, so does the mouseover images - I only kept my mouse over the links because you wrote there was mouseover And I agree that the font for the navigation should go - And are you sure you can't affort to buy a domain and hosting? Because that pop-up really anoys me The text in the boxes, could you add just a little margin? I don't like that the text starts that close to the edge - if it was moved slightly to the right, it would be more easy to read Think that was all, I like the general design, very simple and nice |

A little too narrow for me. Also you have this cursive thing in the background and then have this pixilated font for the nav. I don't really think those two go. Other than that, I think it's looking pretty clean and you have a good looking color scheme going there.

I think it looks pretty good, the only things that i dont really like is the backgroun image, its kindof just runs into the content to much i think maybe lighten it or add a drop shadow to the content area or something. The other things that I dont really was the font (which was already talked about) and then I think there has to be some run around on the text so that its not right up agains the edge of the boxes... Other then that I think it looks great... Nice work |

thanks for the feedback! I can't figure out how to put a margin in my tables, that was annoying me but everytime i tried something it messed up the entire table. Can anyone tell me how to do that?

Well i would recommend using some css style sheets that would probably make thing a lot easier... probably something like... .tables { margin-top: 10px; margin-right: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 10px; padding-top: 10px; padding-right: 10px; padding-bottom: 10px; padding-left: 10px} Depending on the amount of space that you wanna have on there change it a little mess around with it and see what looks good... :P |

Why so skinny? You need to preload your rollover images.
