I really like it! I love when someone does something new and I think you have done it here... Maybe it could need some colors, red? And I would maybe change the font on the text that comes with the links. But as I said I really like it :D |

I think it sucks. You shouldn't need instructions on how to use the buttons, on the site. If you do need instructions there for people to figure it out, you should really change the layout. Plus, you can't see what they are until you roll over them. I would just leave your page before looking at anything. You should try using some color too. Do you have a black and white monitor???????

just beacuse someone wants to buy it. doesn't mean it doesn't suck! you took an incredibly plain site with very little content and made something semi-interesting. (is that a complement? i'm not sure) i like it black and white. adding color would ruin the effect. although, some very light grays could make it look very sharp and give it some depth. |

what I don't get is why all the empty black, or white space is done as a graphic. You could make the load time 1/10th of what it is now if you cut all the dead space off, optimize them, and lay it out with tables instead with the respective background color. I see your page load, and i'm on cable modem. On dialup it probably takes 15 seconds or so to load. With a simple design like that, it SHOULD load very fast. For example, I took your CD in a circle graphic, "NYASIDA_08.gif" which was 3,882 bytes, and cut all the white space off, made white the transparent color, and saved it with less colors, that it's not really using anyway, and saved it, and it turned out to be 1,022 bytes. Quite a savings, I would say. Of course it's smaller, but you can use tables to position it the same. And, you would have to save the little line graphics separately as well. But that's no big deal. Also, a lot of the text you have on there as graphics could be done very easily with plain text to save even more space. They look like standard fonts that everyone has, so that shouldn't be a problem |
