I'm by no means a very good web designer. I can't design on demand, I always need inspiration first and that usually lasts me for a day or two.

And I used up all my inspiration to come up with the top portion of my design. Now the rest of my page looks plain.

Here is a sample page of text, that I need to somehow spice up....

www.thegrounds.net/n00b.php

Your help would be appreciated.

I think it looks pretty good, but i think your right... the top looks great, but once you start scrolling down everything gets pretty plain/dull... I would recommend adding some images here and there like dividers or something. Maybe add a few images that have to do with whatever it is your talking about... that might make things less boring.

Other then that i cant really think of anything that would make it look all that much better, it doesnt really look all that bad now :P

The colors don't go too well if you ask me changing the orange image (the one with the scan lines) to something darker would make it go better with the grey shades you have.

I also agree with the guy up from me, the first page is great, but once you scroll down there's nothing but text to look at. My suggestion is maybe include some pictures (for example, you talk about aiming your crosshair infront of the guy to anticipate a headshot, well, take a pic of that next time you're playing).

Just noticed a small thing, the 'community' button links to nothing, along with the 'forums' in the drop down menu.

Hey thanks for the responses! Yea I think I'll add pictures. I guess that'ts all it needs. The links are still not working because the pages have not yet been created.

I still don't have a clue as to what to put at the bottom or end of these pages. I'm thinking I'll put in text links and things, but graphically, I'm at a loss...

The topics are: Combat Basic, Combat Tactics, "Advanced" Combat, and Alias/Binding.

you should make those links that target to that specific part of the page..
