Windows 7 portable question

Is the new windows 7 portable or the beta version any better?

Is it available to be downloaded for trial or demo?

to my knowldge there is not portable version of windows 7 ..

now they came out with a RC1 (released canadate) a couple of months ago...
a RC version is a higher grade of a beta , it a version just step below the offical realeased version .... .........
and if you want to see how it works then that would be version you get...

now MS has already sent out to the various manufacturers ie; cd manufactuers and pc manufacturers, etc... the final program... and it offical release will be oct 22!! last i heard....

now you may want to hit the various windows 7 forums there several out there.... where you get more detailed repliles...

Thanks for so much info! So oct 22 will be the official release of Windows 7, right?!

that the last official date that been released... but since MS has already sent off the program to the manufacturers i wouldn't be surprised if they moved up the date .....

this link has some info on specific dates of the rtm (release to manufacturers) and also confirms the official released of oct 22 for consumers...
