Please Help!

I need help! I use Windows ME and i recently contracted what i think is a backdoor trojan. I am very stupid for opening the so called "Diablo 2 Hack" and i consider myself a n00b for doing so..Regardless, I have no Restore disc and everytime i try to restore my PC to a earlier date my pc will restart but the results of the restore will end up unsuccessful for reasons i do not know. Please help! :(

Did you try getting a program that will remove the backdoor? Spybot? Anything else... System restore should be a last resort...

try adware. . they give u a 30day trail. . . and one update i think. . .
if no backup all your files and reboot. . . or u can so throu your system 32 folder and look for the backdoor/trojan , u may have to kill the process (ctlr,alt,del)

How do you know if you installed a trojan? Also any anti virus software will sandbox a trojan, so either buy some AV software or download a trial or a free one.

not all AV's will pick up a server.. . depends which trojan its from. . optix/theef/mosucker etc. . .
