I was wondering about the new pbooks. I'm pretty sure the old TiBooks had 1 MB of L3 cache, but now the current pbooks have 512 kb of L2 ... what's the performance sacrifice? Also...the battery times seem worse than on the old tibooks, or did they just decide to stop embellishing those performance times on their batteries? Anyways...any insight on the L2 v.s. L3 will be helpful....Thanks! |

And you can decide about the speed sacrifice, http://www.barefeats.com/al15.html of couse the newer books will be faster... |
