I wish I understood what RAM to get for my computer. All this SRAM, SDRAM, DRAM, RIMM, DIMM, SIMM, PARITY, NON-PARITY, ECC, NON-ECC, PC 100, PC 60,000, HEAT SPREADERS, XXXPINS... Good lord. Why can't they just call it "Fast", "Faster", "A-little-faster-than-'faster'".... I think RAM is the most complicated thing on the computer. Just too many options.

I will my friend. But until then, buying a stick of RAM is cheaper than buying a Mac. I only have 128 on my computer, which makes it pretty unbearable to use Photoshop/Dreamweaver at the same time.

Geez Deker.... You should spend a little cash and get some more Ram. You will see a lot of improvement if you do.

For best price/performance ratio I'd get like 512MB of Crucial PC2100 SDRAM.

Hey Deker, look for a model number on your motherboard and type that into Google. You should see something that has all the specs you need on your board, including what Ram to buy. Just get that. Or you can just see what Ram you have and there should be a sticker on the Ram that says what it is, ie I have DDR 333 (PC2700). The main rule is you want to match Ram. If you have SDRam PC133, then get some more SDRam PC133. The size of the Ram (in MHz) doesnt matter (but the more the better.) , only the kind of Ram. and what Radeon card are you refering to Mike? Most the people I know that have them love them, esp. for games.

What's this? It tells me that this ram works on the Dual 1GHz and 1.25GHz? I'll be damned. I don't have to worry about 20 different specs and speeds to get the right ram? **** me... Macs are less complicated to upgrade than PC's? No way!

Stupid ****ing PC's...

What is your computer? I dont think you need RDRam, which will save you some money. Check the ram that you already have and what does it say on it?
That second one is on a Mac site, I dont know enough about Macs to know if the Ram is different.
