I got luck, I say. In january I tore of my Achilles' tendon (is that the right words for it ?) and was predicted 6 month - a year of physiotherapy in order to get my tendon and calfmuscle back in shape. Now 2 weeks ago I went trashing a tendon in my knee wich is needed to support the knee so it dont fold backwards, wich hurts a bit...:-) Now I'm predicted 3 months of physiotherapy for that sh*t and then a discussion with the orthopaedist wether I need an operation or not, to reproduce a tendon and after that 6 - 12 months of...yes, you got it, physiotherapy.

Jezuz beluba. I didn't need this. Then again, I got some time to spend in front of the computer (needed that) wich could be concidered a good thing by others than my girlfriend who goes "Do you always have to sit there ??".

Ok, whining stops here. Just had to complain a bit. Sorry to bother you with that. But now I'm, happy again.

Well, That's just what the doctor thought I should do in the future instead of tennis, badminton, squash, soccer, and such teamsports (ok not all, but they include balls... :-)no, not those balls.) and it's just in order to save some money to the health care in my part of the country, they wanna save on operations wich doesn't include life saving aspects. I can see the good in it, but not when it comes to myself. I wanna be able to do those things I have been doing befor and if an operation is neccesary, I wan't it !

Well, epmty...that soccer, eh ? My knee was busted that way, and I wasn't even gonna be there playing...Fate, i guess...

Make sure you wince a lot during therapy so you can ask for the good painkillers.

Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen just doesn't cut it, mate.

Just make sure that if they give you a morphine drip, that they turn it off after so long. I was in a hospital a few years back for grease burns, and they forgot to turn mine off for over 8 hours. That was a fun/horrible experience. I thought my mom was a giant colorful parrot. That and there were about 200 little black cats running around my hospital room.....freaky.

eh. I had a morphine drip when I had 4 wisdom teeth removed all at once. I found myself clicking for more...such a nice feeling. Like floating on clouds.
