Yeah, the fight club had a nice twist to it. If you are up for a movie that will really mess with your mind, give Mulholland Drive a try; you will either hate it or love it. (Typical of David Lynch's stuff) Other seriously "mind bending" flicks: "Naked Lunch", "Crash", Takovski's "Solaris" (can't believe they are remaking it. Can't believe they are remaking it with George Clooney.) Good war films: Appocalypse Now, Platoon, The Thin Red Line (beautifully photographed, philosophically poetic), Come and See |

Since I've read The LOTR triology 'bout seven times, I concider myself addicted to Tolkien stuff, and I just luved that movie. It isn't often one gets to see a movie that follows the book/s so well like this one did. I salute the makers of this film. To ye all who haven't seen the film, take time to read the triology first and then pass your jugdement upon the film. It's worth it. Patric. PS. I will go to Ireland as a tourist just to enoy all you irishmen DS. |
