Of you freelancer how many of you just do webpages? Just wondering because webpages are a new thing (what 7 years or so now), so in theory some of the people who have been in design a little bit did it for print before they ever did it for the web.

My question for the people who did print before they did the web, how was the transaction and the changing of how to think different from going from print to web?

Well, I've been freelancing/running my own company for about eight or nine months now, and I'm at the point where I'm looking for a full-time job. It's been fun, but tough to consistently find work to pay the bills. If half the projects people said were coming thru actually came thru then we would've been fine :p Oh, and we did print, multimedia, flash, and web, and can do video/3d as well.

So anyone know any cool places in Houston that are hiring?

Chris

i've been working freelance for about four years and i took a fulltime job a year ago. i like the fact that i have a steady income now and i can still do freelance on the side. i can be more picky about what freelance jobs i take and thats nice. but now i have to get up early every day! luckily i work in a fun environment.
