Acid Pro

Ok since no one will answer my othere thread i think ill post a whole new one. In acid where do the tracks come from do you have to get them from other sources or does acid provide them like fruity loops does?

Acid comes with a few, but the amount depends on the version you have. You can buy additional CDs from their web site, or from other sources. I got 10,000 CD set of loops from Best Buy for $40 by Data Becker....very good set of a large variety of stuff. Acid generally charges quite a bit for their loop CDs, which may or may not contain a healthy collection of stuff.

There are also a lot of free resources on the web, some of which even have files which have already been "Acidized". www.acidplanet.com offers a different set of about 8 loops every week which is usually pretty good, and adds up a to a lot if you download them every week.

ok do you know of a tutorial site or something where i can learn acid pro cause so far i havent been able to find one and a site on fruity loops too if you know of one

I've never heard of fruity loops, so I can't help you there.

THe help files in Acid are awesome. There aren't really any tutorials, because musical talent isn't something you can teach. The help files show you how to join/cut loops, add fades, etc.

And don't bother asking me for help in Acid Pro 3.0. I use Acid Music 1.0, because that's what came with my CD Burner.
