Ripped paper tutorial?

Im looking for a ripped paper tutorial. I think I have see none somewhere but i cant find one... Im not looking for like a ripped edge... im looking for like a ripped whole right in the middle... ive tried to make it myself but to no avail....so if you guys know where i could find one that would be great.... thanks..

Use the selection tool of your choice to create a random shape in the middle of the paper. Then apply the same technique you would when making a "ripped edge" effect. Then just cut that selection out of the paper.

P.S. The word you were looking for is "hole," not "whole."

I just ripped up a real piece of paper, scanned it, and used that.

You would be amazed how low-tech some very high-tech looking things are.

of course, I was just in a hurry trying to post this and run out of the house cause i was suppost to be somewhere else...

and I didnt know where to post this because it wasnt really a question i was just wondering where to find one... i never asked how to do it....
