..most likely google. The question is, on google, how do get your site up there? There's no button thingy for submitting your site. I can see the 'advertise with google' button, but that's about it. Surely you can still submit sites for free no? I need my secret site on a search engine, without costing money..if possible on Google..

there aren't many free search engines left... most charge at least $250 now. and others you have to pay per click... :(

That is true... You really don't have to even submit your site to google. Their bots are so thorough and active, it will list itself in a couple of weeks...

submit it to www.dmoz.org though. it's still free.

I have my sites all over google without submitting.

now take a look at www.oesm.org. Notice the lack of meta tags. Pretty fuxin smooth if I do say so myself.
