4th of July

So, here I am in LV, NV,USA... I'm hearing all this b.s. about Al Quaeda hating Las Vegas and targeting the "Sin City" on our nation's birthday this year - and I think to myself - "I'm getting the HELL out of here!" so I'm going on vacation. (Actually, I was going anyway, but a little psycho Bin Laden terrorism threat incentive didn't hurt.)

I'm driving through Utah, Colorado and Wyoming with my brother, a tent, some cameras and a cooler full of BEER. Can't wait. Two hours and forty eight minutes... but who's counting?

Anyone else have plans for the 4th of July?

MAD... ugh, I know, I know - I was born in Southeast Wyoming - not much there - Laramie is really nice. Especially in the summer - highs in the 80's every day. I plan on stopping at Vedauwoo State Park - I'll post pics next week - one of the coolest places on earth (that I've seen, at least...) However, I still prefer southern Wyoming to driving through Nebraska or South Dakota, though - that's called "asleep at the wheel"
