Does anyone have a favorite way of reporting a spammer? I'm getting about 2 emails per minute from some guy called brandon... his email is brando@augmented-chaos.com and I've already gotten about 200 emails from him. I tried going to augmented-chaos.com, but there is just a form box there to submit a code of some kind. Anyone have any tips on how to stop this guy? I already set it as junk mail in outlook, so it's not actually coming into my inbox, but it's very disapointing to see i have like 20 emails, only to have them all be from this brandon asshole! |

Try contacting the District Attorney's Office in your area and see what they recommend. Hopefully you won't be the first person to contact them regarding illegal spamming activity. You could also try and do a whois search through Verisign and then contact the listed administrator of the domain name and threaten to have them prosecuted if they don't remove you from their list. You can also see where the domian's name servers are pointing and then contact the ISP that is hosting the site and let them know about the situation and ask them to do something about it. Unless of course they are outside the US, then you may be screwed! |

Got the same thing. About 35 of them... They are all infected/virus emails. Delete them... I went to my account and blocked all emails from that domain...

Ah... he must be pulling emails off the forum then. Or just a forum user who got infected... I didn't open any of the attachments... Just put my junk mail filter on them. I haven't gotten any in a while...

I already got his address and phone number from the whois... But I don't want to drive all the way over there just to kick his ass... besides.. I haven't gotten any more emails from him for like 20 minutes now. And it's probably just a virus anyway, since pank has been getting them too. Oh well.
