OK, I took a bunch of snapshots with my digital cam on my vacation and I'd like to send them on CD-ROM to my family so they can view them. But I don't want them to have to open and click on each of the 160 images to view them. Does anyone know of an existing program that allows you to essentially load a playlist of images and give the viewer the ability to manually control this *slideshow*? Or am I going to have to make some sort of HTML or Flash file myself to acomplish this? Thanks for any help. |

If you have windows xp, there is a "Powertoy" that will let you make a slideshow of images. It puts the program on the CD automatically, and is backwards compatible with Windows 9x as well. There are other cool things there too... Like resize an image by simply right-clicking on it and entering a size. Neato. http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp |

Thanks guys. XP is out. Director too. I'll just keep my eye out and ask around some more. Surely I'm not the first person to want this type of utility so I'm sure I'll find something. Keep the suggestions coming if you see anything! |
