So I went and bought some books to actually read.

I spent about 90 bucks at barnes and noble today. I got a promotion so-to-speak. I inquired about the need for the desktop publisher's to have "design books". So, I was given a budget of 100 bucks a month to spend on design books.

Bought some really great design type books, most are for the web, but some ideas and theory (I hope) can be applied to print media. Perhaps, one day, when the company I work for get's smart and starts offering web publishing, these books can be an even better use.

I got Zeldman's "taking your talent to the web" and the one bob recomended in the other book thread.

Cool, Ax. You get to form your own personal graphics library!

I'm applying at Office Depot on Monday by the way. I heard they are desperately looking for a computer guy, so I faxed my resume' on Friday and will go talk to the GM on Monday.

My Office Max experience should make me a shoe-in!
