the world cup is being played in a time zone that falls between a number of us here. as such, the matches are shown live at odd times here in the states and not all of us can see them at that point and must wait for the tape delayed broadcast. so please, DON'T RUIN IT FOR THE REST OF US BY POSTING A FREAKIN' SCORE IN A POST TITLE. thanks.

definitely somewhere in there, tho i wouldn't be suprised to see us make it 3-0 if beasley, donovan, and mathis get some room to run up front.

I am so miserable. Sweden did not do it the way they should. They could've scored three times before senegal did in the golden goal....Eff You See Kay, was my immediate reaction. But now I'm over it and set my hope tp Brazil.

if i get up at 2:30am to faithfully watch the US play, i think i have earned the right to ruin it for the 'fans' who were in bed sleeping.

my 2 cents

that was an outstanding game cybling, i was definitely pulling for ireland (i'm half-irish). the way they maintained composure in the last 20 minutes and just kept creating opportunities was really impressive, i wish they'd pulled it out.

the US match was great too, the early goal definitely helped them emotionally, not that it changed the mexican attack. after they did a good job not getting worn down by mexico's possession and hung in well. i thought the cheap shots by mexico at the end were kind of sad, they're a better team than that.

all i know is that on friday i'm getting no sleep. england v brazil at 1:30am my time (which could be the match of the tournament) then US v germany at 6:30am. bring on the caffeine...
