I'm supposed to buy Dreamweaver MX today, or convince the boss that I don't need it. I don't really want to get it right away for 2 reasons. 1) Don't want to re-learn where everything is at 2) Don't see any features in MX that aren't in UltraDev already. Now he said #1 is not a good enough reason NOT to get it, but I can't find anything that says where UltraDev is the same as MX. From what I can tell, it is the same product, MX is just prettier. If anybody has seen any articles or can help me look for them, comparing UltraDev with MX, it'd be appreicated. Thanks. |

Dude. Dreamweaver MX is sweet. Have you downloaded/played with the trial version that Macromedia has on their site? Its full featured, but on a time limited basis. Yes. Dreamweaver MX is the same as UltraDev. I know from experience. I haven't been looking at any articles, since I've used that trial version and know how good it is already. |

I just ordered Studio MX. Was only a $299 upgrade from Flash MX. Should have it in about 2 weeks. I never did play with the trial. I figured it was so slimmed down that it was pointless anyways. |

You did good. MX, heck the whole Studio MX, is great stuff.
