Camping???

I was wondering if anyone liked to camp around here? We were sorta discussing it in the Gaussian thread, so I figured I would come over here and ask. My wife and kids and I go 10-15 times a year, if you haven't been, you should go.

I don't enjoy camping. Sleeping on the ground when you have a perfectly good bed at home seems dumb to me. I have to have my computer and the conveniences of modern day life.

I love to hit the woods though. Cooking out, fishing, having a few cold ones, fresh air.....yeah.

Damn, now I feel like going camping.

I have to camp every night, because everyone knows we don't have houses yet out here in Iowa.

I agree with Grassfolk and MBB. Just love being outdoors. fishin havin' a few cold ones, cookin what you get and starv if you don't get anything. camping I like also, but it has to be away from others I think. Here in sweden we have whats called camping sites or sumphin like that, everybody goes there and live like they where at home, but in tents or campers...Jisuss, I loathe camping sites. When I go fishin I go with a pal of mine who's got a boat. We stay away for 2-3 days just fishin, drinkin, talking, swimming and drinkin. It is total relaxation.

If you camp in Ireland you're almost garunteed to get wet...i don't like the wet and cold...

But hey, ireland has great places to camp in...like 9 tenths of the country!
