Well lets share all our neat new found tricks, shortcuts, goodie stuff here.
I just found out by accident that if you double click on your layer you can rename it. In 6 it just brought up that stupid layer style window which bugged me. Now it actually does something useful. No more right clicking to rename your layers. Just double click them...

That "feature" drives me nuts. I'm still used to just double-clicking on the layer...then I wait, and wait, and wait, and realize that my Layer Style's are NOT going to come up because what I did renames the layer. You can still get your layer styles if you double-click on the little picture of your layer (preview), but I'm not used to doing that. I almost never rename layers anyways, I have them on Large Previews, so I don't need a name to tell me what layer that is, I can just see it visually.

You would be surprised how many times I need to use this feature that is no longer around.

in 5.5 there used to be a tool called edit>>transform>>mathematic where you could reduce something by a percentage. It's no longer around for 6 or 7. Wish they would bring it back.

Something I am starting for find more and more usefull is the file browser.

The pattern maker is quite handy as well.

Hey Ax, That transform is still possible.

Edit >>transform>>free transform

then in the bar across the top enter your percentage

just wait until you dive into the new ImageReady. It had me thinking I missed 4 versions like the new name (7.0) indicates. I was impressed with 7 overall. - and that layer thing, try it on a type layer, It renames your type on the document and in the layer, just by changing the layer name.... for better or worse.
