*shakes his ass as he was right for once* yay! Seriously though, you wouldn't beleive how many times people will bitch and ask to see a manager because i won't copy copyrighted material. Even if it something as simple as a color picture. If I can tell it was taken by a professional photographer, I don't do anything with it. I had a customer go to the manager one day and bring the manager back over, saying I was rude and wouldn't make copies of her pictures. The manager came back over with the customer, confronted me and tried to force me to make copies of the pictures. About that time, the manager for the section I work in came in the door just as I was showing the manager the section in our operations manual that addressed copyright. Once he found out that he couldn't force me to do anything with it, the customer apologized for lying that I was rude. Never seen that guy back in there since. |

And I wonder why they have that stupid quote "The customer is always right" *sigh* |

Actually, my supervisor's quote is "the customer is rarely correct"
