Woo hoo. http://www.rdi1.com/personal/cool.jpg Yeah, the lighting was screwed up so it's a pretty dark picture, but you can still see what I'm "woo hoo-ing" about. |

Damn I hate you. Tell us if it worth the 149.00 bucks. Still deciding if I wanna spend SG$270 of my paycheck. Just got a job for my 2 months semestral break. |

Actually, I got it off CDW cheaper than $149. I shopped around. I just got it installed, and the first thing I noticed is that ImageReady is now Version 7.0. Did I miss versions 4, 5, & 6, or did they just do that for uniformity? And, no, my watch is old. I'll play with it later this afternoon. I have to take about 300 pictures yet before the end of the work day, but now I get to edit them ALL in Photoshop 7. I just can't wait until the day that Photoshop can just recognize an object in a picture and extract it out with any intervention from me other than telling it what object I want extracted...my job would be tooooooo easy today if that were the case. |

Well it was only 1:00 PM when I posted that message. Photoshop 7 Notes: ---------------------------------- The healing brush rocks. I'm still confused on the whole ImageReady version jump. I'm disappointed that there are NO NEW filters that I can see. The file browser is REALLY cool, but seems very slow also. I do like this new brush engine. I've been making grass on everything. The pattern-maker is neat. I can now expand upon my scrambled signatures. Now you know my beefs and my favs so far. But that's all I've had time to play with it so far. If you have any questions or want me to test something before you buy it, ask away. |

The healing brush was something that caught my eye right off the bat. Guess I'll have to upgrade and check out the other stuff.
