Anyone here ever touched Microsoft Publisher. It's not exactly my software of choice, but I'm trying to print an 11" x 17" paper full bleed, and I'm not quite sure how to get it done. I've got it so that I have about 1/4" margins, but for the life of me I cannot get this thing to print full bleed. Any further info you need or any help you can provide is appreciated. Thanks guys, |

In Publisher Matt, I generally have people set their page size to 11.5 x 17.5 , then make the piece up using a 1/4" margin. After printing, we trim the piece to 11 x 17. I figure there is a way to do it, I just don't remember off hand. If you haven't got it figured out by tomorrow evening I'll look into it in the morning and post back here. |

Thanks Torn, I searched Google for about an hour+, and I looked at a lot of print shop sites that said that's what they do too...well I already bought an entire ream of 11" x 17" paper, I don't think I can just buy 1 ream of anything bigger to trim down, besides the fact that I'd have to cut it with scissors, since our paper cutter will definitely not handle 17"...that's a long process for about 500 sheets.

Just put in that your paper is bigger.

Try to trick the printer to think it contains bigger papersize than it really is. Then, maybe Publisher falls for it too and yer home free !! :D :D :D |

Our printers at work can do it. I will ask around tomorrow when I go into work if anyone knows how to do it in publisher. Most likely, that will be our desktop publishing person. I won't have the answer for you until 9pm or later tomorrow, so if someone else answers before I do, I won't post the answer. |
