It would seem to me that the "Mark Forum Read" command/link at the top right of individual sub-forums would better serve visitors if, after marking that sub-forum as "Read", our browsers would then take us back to the Index of sub-forums, rather than return us to the thread list we just got done marking as "Read."

Any chance you could implement this? does that make any sense to you?

Just a thought....

I've never noticed that link.

I always use the Mark All read link on the front page.

I would like that also. It would just be one less click to make. EZBoard does that, and I like it.

I tried looking through the files, and found the index.php mark all read code, but can't find where it appends the markread action to the end of forumdisplay.php. Of course, I'm not as familiar with the vB code.

Along the same lines, I wish it would take me back to the forum when I post a message, instead of back to the message I just posted.

Or either like on phpBB, it has a page with a timed redirect, with 2 links; 1 to go to the post you just posted in, or back to the forum. If you don't choose after like 5 seconds, it redirects back to the post.

So get to work pank! j\k :p
