hell ya graphicsguy and there just as expensive if you buy from a dealer like gateway (grr, they suck) i only build cus i have more ability to customize. there also expensive because there built like tanks, these things are amazing, like when i was a PC 16 year old i was all like "mac's suck" and then i got mine, and ive never been so happy with how it preforms and how well built it is =) but then again i need a cheap PC for my 3D work, i wont be able to aford a good 3D mac until this summer (oh i cant wait for a G5) hey graphicsguy, you got OSX yet? |

no i dont want a platform war, i use both and thats that, im all good =) see im gonna be honest i personal like the hardware on macs, but i do love Win2k it is amazing =) i think any true graphics guru would honestly agree with me, it just depends on what u are comfy with, and if it fits your needs, such as in the graphic design world a mac fits me, and when it comes to 3D animation, and film i like PC's overall, film is best done on a mac usually, but i personaly like to do film on a PC, something about the OS fits it better, and well i really dont do much on a mac involving 3D so i just stay with what i grew up with on a PC, ya know |
