NOA's sig is so awesome, I wouldn't be suprised if someone ripped it!!!!!!! ::blink::blink:: FeAr: You would find an endless stream of people here willing to help you learn how to make your own sig. Point you to tutorials, help you with Alpha Channels (whatever those are), offer honest critiques. Heck, if I asked Deker to make me a pikmin sig, he prolly would--because he knows I'm here for the long haul. We see guys come and go every day, just lookin' for freebees, without really wanting to be a part of this family... If you're still here in 3-6 months, posting questions, posting your grafx, contributing--then who knows. |

That's what the help files are for, assuming you have them. And Google will bring up an abundance of web sites that go into great detail about what to do with Photoshop. There's no excuse not to learn the program, and from your last comment, it doesn't sound like you've even given it a shot. |

You're doing what I suggested, so I'll go a step further, FeAr. What the guys said is right, but I know that overwhelming feeling starting out as well. 1) look at someone's sig you like the size of, right click on it and look at the properties. That will tell you what size to start with. The max you prolly wanna start with here is 80 x 400 pixels. 2) use RGB mode 3) find a kewl tutorial to experiment with on your sig 4) do a 'Save for Web' and use a gif format. Keep the size under 25K .... if you have to reduce colors to make it small enough, so be it. 5) upload it to a server that allows external linking and add it to your profile with * tags I "fear" I may be unleashing a monster on the world.... ;) |
