OK, on my color laser printer, when I print in red, it starts out magenta and then slowly fades into red. All of my color drums are full, and I've taken them all out and shaken them up to make sure the color is even thoughout them. What I'm asking is, what color turns magenta into red when printing? Whatever color that is, I need to replace that drum and see if it's OK. If you have any other suggestions, feel free to mention them. Thanks guys. |

Blue isn't one of the colors DD. And I don't think that yellow would make it darker. And yes, I think we did learn this in Kindergarten, but that's been about 18 years ago.

Almost entirely yellow, if you are printing a dark red - blue and black are involved - but only a tiny percentage. Matt shouldn't you mention the type of printer you have . . . maybe someone has had the same issue. (:D ) |

It's yellow alright. Well I'll go check the yellow drum. It's probably low. The printer is an HP 4500C |
