Hi
have any of you ever recieved any formal photoshop training?
Like a seminar, conference, class in school called "photoshop 1", etc? Anything but a book or magazine, really.

If so, what kind?

There isn't really much need for seminars and stuff. Really, what's on the net beats any lessons, and what's best is that it's free. But yeah, i was at a PS class, just a 2 hour thing. Basically it was focused on people who know how to use it, including me but the guy just gave us a couple of new techniques, pretty cool i suppose, but nothing i've never seen before...Books are great too! For the more inexperienced, i wouldn't waste your money on it, really, the net is enough. I'm sure most people here didn't need any classes...

thanks, that's great feedback.

I agree, for the most part.

I just wanted to hear some people's responses to see what works the best to learn software.

I took a class in Photoshop 5, but I really didn't learn much. Probably because it was right after work and all I could think about was when was I going to get to go home.
