Anybody ever steal your domain?

Anybody ever check on a domain for someone, then 2 days later when the client wants you to order it, turns out somebody registered it already?

I swear to god I'm soooo pissed at godaddy.com...I think they recorded my search, and then after I searched for it, they went and registered it......grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Yes, happened to me twice on the snagyourpic.org web site of mine. The project was supposed to be takeyourpic.org, but it was stolen. Then we decided on e-pic.org, which was again stolen.

Never happened to me, but then I don't go around registering many .coms. Just two so far.

Nope never happend to me. And i've registered 9 domains so far (no i don't own them all, some people are just idiots and can't do it themselves.)

I always check different places for whois info to make sure its not taken. When i got my 2nd domain it took like 3 months for it to show up in alot of places. Bah
