But what I'm saying is that when it's 20 degrees this time of year here, we revel in the warmth.

Just looked out the window and it is currently 22 degrees, and it feels pretty dang nice out. I can't imagine what Northern Alaskans do when it gets above 0 degrees......they probably stand naked in the sun for days at a time because it feels so nice out.

In Alaska we have "Chinooks" that will sometimes take temperatures from -40 to 30 OVERNIGHT! Trust me - it's Tropical. Except for the snow, ice, and wind . . . :D

It doesn't snow here. I don't miss it. When I wear shorts in the wintertime, it's warm and I get a tan. I know people who have never seen snow. i tell them that they aren't missing anything.

If it freezes, some idiots get out the water hoses and make icesycles.

I could only visit Alaska in the summertime.

LMAO @Mattboy

It didn't make it as far north as I am, but about 40 miles south it snowed in birmingham alabama. About an inch or 2 and yeah, Mattboy is right.... it shut the city down until about 11 A.M.

Hrm i think i'd rather be cold than hot. Because when you are cold you can always put on another sweater, but when you are hot theres only so much you can take off when you go outside before its becomes a legal matter ;)

Although, i don't think i would wish to live in freezing temps year round. Of course i live in California. I believe its only snowed in my area once in my life for about 30 minutes. So i'm wussy when it comes to being cold
