Just wondering if anyone has ever tried saving a .bmp on an audio cd........ AND if someone did that, is there any way to open it back up, or do you have to start all over??? |

Yes. You can have data (such as a BMP) & music on one cd. What do you mean open it back up? Yeah, if you put any data on a cd, so long as you didn't screw up the burn, you could open the BMP file back up in a graphics editor/viewer. As for re-opening the cd for more burning... Its possible so long as you have enough space and use the 'track at once" burning method so you can append the cd if you want to add stuff to it. |

Oh. The cd drive just called the pictures track one and track 2. So, I put it back in the cd writer and tried to open it from there. It seemed like it was going to work. The .bmp were listed as I saved them. It was taking too long, even for the small one, so I quit. I was trying to attach some pictures to email. As far as screwing up the burn, I have never used the cd writer before (I was threatened with bodily harm if I messed up anything). |
