basketball/football texture?

Does anybody know where I can score a photo of the texture off of a basketball and a football? Or how to fake one? I'd kind of like the laces of the football to show so it's recognizable. Low - res is ok.

Don't you just love last minute holiday projects? Anyone have any horror stories of jobs you're working on this week and next?

I would make a custom pattern of the little dots, and then fill a new channel with that. Then apply some lighting effects on it, and then warp it to whatever shape you need.

I don't have any horror stories because I don't design web pages for a living anymore. :(

I wish I could still make web sites for a living. I love it. I hate clients though. And having to design to what they want. But I like getting paid for what I like to do. I still make sites for fun, but I don't get paid for it. So what I need is for someone to pay me to do one of my own sites. Then it would be good.

agreed. Clients suck.

unless they give you full creative direction, and don't stand over your shoulder. No deadline, and pay well, and....
