I ran across this story through a posting on Slashdot, about this site that requires requested permission before you link to their site. I find it ridiculous that someone would expect permission before you link to their site. Seriously, what's the point in it? Does it hurt them that much that you link to their site if you want to? |

Well, the internet really has no hard rules of conduct regarding how somebody should operate their website. My opnion is, is that the site in question did this simply to garner attention for themselves. It doesn't take much to get a few clicks from curious net users wondering what is going on with their website.

Yah, once again someone has to come along and prove once again why i hate people so much. Permission to LINK To them? I think someone missed a few days in their i"nternet 101 for dummies and social retards" class. I would laugh at the irony if it wasn't just so damn stupid. |

oh-my-god you are RIGHT. It is doing that.I cracked the code. The actual message he is displaying is. 'Stop stealing my milk money" ?!? hehe it would be like Microsoft saying you can't talk about them w/o their permission. Thus only outlaws would be ablle to bash Microsoft. lol |
