well the time has come for me to get away from the computer for awhile. In the past 3 months I have had a great deal of trouble finding a job. Even one that doesn't require my skills (and I have a lot of them).

I have been turned down by Piggly Wiggly (a grocery store), Publix, another grocery store, Hardees/McDonalds/Wendy's and Wallmart. These are just the places I have applied to that don't want my computer skills. All they want is an automaton to press cash register buttons for 8 hours straight. Considering I have worked at grocery stores and gas stations before, I would think that I have an excellent chance of getting a job at these places.

Apparently, they get frightened when they see someone who has the qualifications I have. Guess they don't want to hire me. So I don't give them a resume. Just the employment history on the application.

I don't know what else to do. My lease runs out on the 30th of this month. I have had my cable tv/internet and phone turned off so that I can pay the bills which are sure to burn me a new one seeing as I spent my last $3.00's the other day on a coke and a pack of crackers. Haven't eaten since saturday night. I'm bored out of my mind. Soon to be homeless.

to top it all off, my parents think it would be best if I join the military, air force to be exact. What they fail to take into consideration is my plastic knee and the screws holding it in place, not to mention the fact that I need hip replacement surgery and I haven't slept more than 4 hours a night in 3 years because of some unknown back pain. The air force would just wash me out within the first week and I would be right back in the same position. GRRRR.

I have two interviews on monday. they are 150 miles apart. Fortunatly, I got lucky to get them 5 hours apart. So wish me luck. I need it.

well tui,

I have actually submitted resumes to just about all of those. Well, the ones I am qualified for. I don't have my bs yes, but I am a semester away from having my AA. The job market in this area just blows.

I don't want to have to join the military, but it's an option if none of the jobs I have applied for in the past week pan out.

oooo

<----- triple sevens. isnt that good luck?
