Anyone get a GameCube?

Did anyone besides Charm and I get a Nintendo Gamecube?

I must say I'm loving mine. I got Luigi's Mansion and Super Monkey Ball. Both amazingly fun.

The great thing about the cube is that there are NO load times. I didn't even notice it for a long time, then I was like "Wait a second, I haven't see a load screen at all yet!". Compare that to the demo of Munch's Odyssee that I played on the Xbox..... hahaha. That literally had close to a 20 second load time I would guess.

Now I must go sell some more of my possessions so I can get more games!

I did. I didn't see any I wanted on the Xbox. Plus it's $100 more expensive. And it's made by Microsoft. Ew. If I was filthy rich, I would get both though.

madden 2002 has a little bit of a load time when you start a game but its nothing terrible.

i have been so busy i haven't been able to dedicate a lot of time to the cube yet!

Munch's Oddysee is exactly why I would get an Xbox, I hadn't really seen much on the gamecube that interested me either (tho I would like to check one out just the same). I'll just stick with my PS2 for now

Charm, quit your job! Play the Gamecube! I haven't played Madden. But the two games I have didn't have any load screens at all.

Fig, Munch's Oddysee is fun to play, but not fun to watch load. I liked the first two on the PSX a lot. If I had a PS2, I probably wouldn't have gotten the Cube either. Especially since Metal Gear Solid 2 came out.

Malibu, you should play the Cube too. It's not just for kids. And yes, I came to work today. Doesn't mean I'm working though...

the oddworld series was fun to play.

A friend got his xbox from ups the other day and i went over to visit. I played halo. This game exceeds all my expectations. It's probably the best FPS to come out in the past 3 or 4 years. Yes, it woops unreal/unreal tourney/half life/quake 3's ass. Gameplay is amazing.

You have never, ever faught enemies with such awesome Ai. The enemies are smart. They learn to attack/overpower you depending on the size of the group you are in. it's nuts. they don't just run up and attack. if they are out-gunned/ out numbered they run away and call for back up.

I love this game. Can't wait for pc version.

I can't believe people are paying $459 dollars for a Gamecube. They aren't that hard to find... Gees.
