Tribal designs are not cool anymore. Everyone and their grandma has freakin' tribal tattos all over the place. Back when I was young and stupid (2 years ago), I was going to get a tattoo on my forearm of a little guy sitting at a computer. And then have "Nerd" written under it. It was going to be one of the little round headed guys like they put on bathroom signs. I'm glad I just drew it with a Permanent Marker instead. Saved me some trouble. I think you should do something not expected. No tribal stuff. No thorny vines or barb wire. No skulls, flames, knives, dragons, naked ladies, harley logos, or anything like that. You could do exploding polygons... hee hee. Just do IE 6.0. Everyone would want a browser tattooed on their back. |

I see... I must have skipped the word 'site' the first time. My apologies. Well I still think you shouldn't do anything cliche'd. Though that would probably make since for a tattoo parlor web site. You could get them to tattoo a nav bar on someone's arm, and then scan it and use that. That would be pretty cool.

Decker suggested I use this as a tattoo, if you like I can give you the AI file to play with. I also made an brush for that organic coil. It can make very trippy effects: http://www.teamphotoshop.com/forum/vbforum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3447 |

I'd say to just have fun with it, let some of the artist's style come thru. This is a site for someone who's a creative professional, and as such it should have the look and feel that their work does. We did one that's not finished yet but it's definitely a unique piece, I'll try to post some screen grabs of it. Chris |
