If anybody else has the DVD "Sound & Motion Volume 1", go watch track #7...

The video is "Mocean Worker - Detonator"

This video has the whole bit:

Scanlines
Subways
Funky Polygons
Close-ups of Microchips

The video is a little older since I bought the DVD over a year ago, but if you have the DVD, watch that and pay attention...you may notice more than I did, but it's just amusing to see the "trendy" effects in a music video.

Hell, all you have to do is watch TV.

I've noticed tons of design trends showing up that were web-trendy 6-18 months ago.

Totally, just watch any kind of tech company commercial, you'll see all kinds of flash-like transitions and effects. Gotta love it when the internet starts influencing other mediums, tho i'd much rather see the web evolving to be like other media than other media evolving towards the web.
