Can you not view it at all, or can you only see just a little bit of the code...like, is there,..like, just a little bit there? Is the page framed? |

I haven't been able to view source for a long time either, Wallus. Not through the view menu or by right clicking. I always open up the site in Netscape or Opera. By the way... OPERA RULES! It's the most amazing browser ever. Super fast. Never seen pages render so fast. It has an amazing mouse gesture system that makes it really easy to navigate pages, as well as a really cool autocomplete thing. You can also zoom in on web sites. And of course it has the best support for w3c standards... |

matt - nope, the problems not with frames. deker - Opera, hmmm. I've heard only good things about that browser. Will everything that works in IE 5.5 work the same in opera (rollovers, javascript, etc)?? Thanks! :D |

Depends on the coding. If a site is standards compliant, it will look right in Opera. If it isn't, then it won't look right. All the browsers are (finally) moving towards standards compliance though, so it's a good idea to start learning to code that way. And Opera is a great browser to test things in. I forgot to mention its wonderfully simple e-mail client that is integrated into the browser, as well as a great contact management and bookmark management feature. A great print preview option... Easily toggle images on and off. Built in search field that lets YOU choose the search engine (unlike IE which forces MSN on you every time you turn around) Built in ICQ Support... etc, etc, |

For future reference, try fixing this problem by clearing the cache in internet explorer. It won't view source if the cache is full. or try this: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;IT;203592 |

just trying to be fair and balanced you know... but seriously everybody, use a decent browser that can view source even if the cache is full.
