Better go out and stock up on photoshop while you can! You don't want to starve when the famine comes!

Macromedia and Adobe have been at war for quite some time.

It started not too long ago when Adobe was about to introduce a product that could do the same thing that Flash could do. I dont really know how that is going, or what ever became of that project, but Macromedia made a real big stink about it.

Macromedia is a joke. Their WYSIWYG is probably the only usefull peice of software they have made for the web publishing world.

Ax: you're not trying to start the whole "Flash is useless dung for the web" thread again are you? If you do, I'm going to add a flash intro to the gaming site I made! That'll teach you!

not at all.

But there's a reason 90% of the e-business sites you go to don't use flash.

Flash is usefull in it's own way. As is DreamWeaver.

Flash is pretty nifty, but only if done subtly, IMO.

Such as creating just a tad niftier navigation or a bit of animated atmosphere to a small portion of a page, not full-screen completely animated stuff.
